Clover History Series Geocache Begins September 15, 2012.
Grab your GPS and embark on a unique tour of Clover through geocaching. The first 200 geocachers to complete their history passport will receive a free 125th anniversary commemorative coin. Irish Heritage Appreciation Month September 2012 Download Flyer
A month long event at the Clover Public Library, 107 Knox Street. Includes a special exhibit and children's programs throughout the month. There will also be two special, free presentations:
- On Monday, September 24, Michael Scoggins, a historian at the York County Culture and Heritage Museums, will present "Scotch-Irish History of York County" at 6:30pm. Download Flyer

The Greater Clover Chamber of Commerce has invited the Honorable Dr. Eddie Lee of Winthrop University to be the guest speaker for the Annual Meeting. Many of you may know Dr. Lee as Mayor Eddie Lee of York! His presentation will be “A Walk Through Clover’s Past.” Join the Chamber on this special night and help kick off the 125th Anniversary Celebration. Ghost of Clover’s Past Historic Tour Sunday, October 21, 2012 ~ 103 N. Main Street ~ 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Ride the Little Blue Choo and enjoy a guided tour of historical sites in Clover. There will also be a special museum exhibit of Clover artifacts at the Larne Building on the day of the tour. $10 Adults; $5 Children under 10. Tickets will be available starting September 24 at Town Hall, 114 Bethel Street, and will be available on the day of the tour. But don't wait too long - there is limited seating on the train! Special thanks to the Clover Woman's Club for helping with this event.
Preserving Clover's Past
Preservation Training The York County Culture and Heritage Museums will offer training sessions on preserving family heirlooms such as documents, pictures and textiles. All events are free and will begin at 10am at the Clover Community Center, 120 Bethel Street. No registration is required.

Artifact Collection Help build a library of information so that it can be preserved for future generations. Submit photographs, letters, newspaper clippings, documents and other memorabilia to be digitally scanned. Contributors will be limited to 12 items per collection day. Each item must have identifying information. For example, for a picture to be accepted, the date it was taken, the subject matter, the people in the picture, etc., must be identified. No advance registration is required. The collection will be held at the Clover Community Center on the following dates:

Tuesday, November 13, 2012 ~ 10:00am to 4:00pm

Veteran Video Biography Veterans are invited to share their stories about Clover and their experiences serving their country. Contact Shannon Nix at 803-222-9495 to reserve an interview time. A reservation is not required but is encouraged in order to limit wait times. Interviews will be recorded for archival purposes at the Clover Community Center on the following dates:

Hometown Holiday Celebration Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, November 30 ~ December 2, 2012
The Town will come alive with holiday spirit during this special weekend. Events will include the tree lighting, kid’s activities, and much more. The weekend of celebration will conclude with the 42nd Annual Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 2, 2012, Main Street, 3:00pm. Check back here for more information as events are confirmed.

In observance of Arbor Day, the Town will be planting a special tree at New Centre Park to commemorate our 125th anniversary.

A new Clover 2012 movie will make its debut at this ticketed event. The new Clover Hall of Fame will also be unveiled as well as the Clover Through the Years exhibit. Tickets are on sale at Town Hall, 114 Bethel Street. $20 per person.
