The Clover Municipal Court has jurisdiction over cases that occur within the Town limits. The Court has authority over such offenses as
Judge H. Melvin Howell is the Municipal Judge. The Associate Judge/Clerk of Court is RachelAnne Fleming.
Court is held on the first two Thursdays of each month at 5:30pm and the last two Mondays of each month at 9:00am in the court room at the York County Magistrate's Office, 201 S. Main Street, Clover. Jury trials are held as needed.
Fines are due in full on the day of sentencing. Payment can be made with cash, money order, and certified check only. Personal checks are not accepted.
Pay Your Fine
In Person - If you want to pay your fine in person prior to your court date, you may bring your ticket and payment to the Municipal Court office at 110 Bethel Street, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. If the office is closed, payments can be made at the Clover Town Hall, 116 Bethel Street. You must present a copy of the ticket or warrant.
By Mail - Send to Clover Municipal Court, PO Box 1060, Clover, SC, 29710. You must include the ticket number on your payment.
Some fines cannot be paid in advance. Call 803-222-4084 to confirm your ticket can be paid without a court appearance.
